Readyboost in Windows XP

Its easy to use a readyboost device in Windows XP similar to Windows Vista, all you have to do is plug-in the device, press Windows key+pause break key to bring up system properties, then click on advanced tab.

Now under the performance section, click settings and click advanced options tab. Under the virtual memory section press change and select the external device, select system managed size and click set.

Now Windows will prompt you to reboot, reboot its all done. I use a 1 GB SD card for this purpose, you can use any memory cards or an usb flash drive.
